Para Hacker sengaja memposting 453 ribu lebih pengguna Yahoo ke Publik. Data hack, diposting kePerusahaan situs hacker D33D,berisi lebih dari 453 ribu Password Pengguna Yahoo dan tampaknya berasal dari jaringan pelopor Web. Para hacker, yang mengatakan mereka menggunakan teknik serikat berbasis injeksi SQL untuk menembussubdomain Yahoo.Ini pesan dari Hacker kepada Yahoo
"We hope that the parties responsible for managing the security of this subdomain will take this as a wake-up call, and not as a threat," the hackers said in a comment at the bottom of the data. "There have been many security holes exploited in webservers belonging to Yahoo! Inc. that have caused far greater damage than our disclosure. Please do not take them lightly. The subdomain and vulnerable parameters have not been posted to avoid further damage."
Subdomain yang telah dihack nampaknya milik Yahoo Voice, menurut laporanTrustedSec. Para Hacker sepertinya rupanya lupa menghapus nama host dari data tersebut. Yaitu host "dbb1.ac.bf1.yahoo.com" tampak terkait dengan platform Yahoo Voice, yang sebelumnya dikenal sebagai Associated Content.
